Blood rushes to the head

In difficult situations, we often say, “this is a moment for growth.”

But what does the path of growth look like for a woman? Does she take responsibility for her own life, even after dreams have been shattered?

Blood Rushes to the Head explores these questions through movement and sound. In addition to Kimmo Pohjonen’s signature accordion, the piece features music composed by Pohjonen for the African thumb piano.
