Emmi Pennanen

Emmi Pennanen is a freelance dance artist who also works as a choreographer.

She has performed in numerous works by well-known Finnish and international choreographers. Pennanen danced with the Finnish National Ballet from 2009 to 2015 and again from 2017 to 2018, as well as with the Royal Ballet of Flanders in Belgium from 2015 to 2017, during which time the company was led by contemporary dance choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. She graduated as a dancer from the Ballet School of the Finnish National Opera in 2008 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Helsinki in 2018.
