Anette Toiviainen

Anette Toiviainen is a dancer and dance artist. She has a Master's degree in Dance from the Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki. In addition, Anette has completed a Bachelor's degree at Stockholm University of the Arts (DOCH) and Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (BA of Arts) and a postgraduate training program at the Contemporary Dance School in Copenhagen. She has worked with, among others, Tero Saarinen Company, Imre & Marne Van Opstal, Johanna Nuutinen, Emrecan Tanis, Thomas Bentin and Renan Martins. Anette has completed an internship at Skånes Dansteater. In 2023, Anette was selected as one of the artists (Amos Rex) in the Generation 2023 exhibition and a year earlier, her solo work was selected as a finalist at the International Solo Dance-Theatre-Festival in Stuttgart.
