Aapo Siikala has worked as a scenographer since 2000.
He has designed costumes for numerous dance and stage productions, including for the Lahti City Theatre, the Ballet School of the Finnish National Opera, Jorma Uotinen, and Ballet Finland. He has created the costumes for nearly all of Willman Dance Company’s productions, with a recent focus on using recycled materials in his designs.
From 1992 to 2018, Siikala danced with the Finnish National Ballet.
